Al Aman Fund Celebrates Two Decades of Impact with the Launch of Its 2026 Ramadan Campaign

Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans has launched its 2026 Ramadan campaign, coinciding with the Fund’s 20th anniversary since its establishment in 2006. The campaign calls on individuals to direct their Zakat and charitable giving during the holy month toward supporting the orphaned youth and enabling them to continue their education and build independent futures.

Al Aman Fund had earlier paved the way for the launch of this year’s campaign through a teaser campaign that preceded the official announcement, drawing attention to the reality that turning 18 does not carry the same meaning for every youth. The teaser sparked widespread public curiosity about the nature of the campaign and the sensitive issue it aimed to highlight, focusing on the challenges faced by orphaned youth upon leaving the care homes at the age of 18. While many of their peers celebrate this milestone as the beginning of independence supported by their families, however, for an orphaned youth it can instead mark the start of uncertainty and early responsibility in the absence of immediate family support.

This interactive approach generated significant engagement and helped set the stage for the campaign’s central message, emphasizing the essential role of Al Aman Fund in providing comprehensive support and stability for orphaned youth, enabling them to move toward a future built on dignity and independence.

The campaign video portrays the pivotal moment an orphaned youth experiences upon leaving care home and entering a more sensitive stage of life without the direct family support. It then documents how the journey transforms through the Fund’s support, which provides educational and livelihood support, along with capacity building programs that enable beneficiaries to continue their path with confidence and independence.

The video concludes with a reflective moment as the orphaned youth looks back on the path he has taken since leaving the care home at the age of 18. Twenty years later, his journey mirrors the two decades since the establishment of Al Aman Fund, bringing the story full circle. The scene captures the legacy of “Two Decades of Al Aman,” revealing how consistent support can transform uncertainty into opportunity.
Some of Al Aman’s beneficiaries also appear in the video, proudly sharing their experiences and expressing their pride in being part of Al Aman’s journey, which has supported them in continuing their education and building independent futures.

Al Aman Fund confirmed holding an official Fatwa from the Jordanian Iftaa Department (Fatwa No. 7/2010), which permits the use of Zakat funds to support orphaned youth over the age of 18 who do not have financial means. Zakat contributions and donations are directed toward covering university, college, and vocational training tuition fees, in addition to monthly allowance, housing, health insurance, and psychosocial and capacity building programs.

In addition, Zakat Al-Fitr will be distributed as Eidiyeh to beneficiaries on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr, ensuring that orphaned youth can celebrate the holiday with dignity and joy.

To ensure donors can easily contribute their Zakat and charitable donations during Ramadan, the Fund will be present through donation booths at several locations including City Mall (P1 level), Miles Supermarket at Mecca Mall, Cozmo, and Abdali Mall (GF). The campaign also includes community partnerships that facilitate donations and expand outreach through checkout campaigns at all Sameh Mall and Food Gate Market branches.

Al Aman Fund also provides multiple convenient and secure donation channels for individuals, including direct calls via 065664427, CliQ under the name Amanfund, eFAWATEERcom, all banking applications under the charities list, as well as delivery applications such as Talabat and Careem.

About Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans

Established two decades ago as a non-profit organization by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans aims to empower orphaned youth graduating from care homes after the age of 18 by supporting them in continuing their education at universities, colleges, or vocational training centers. The Fund also provides comprehensive livelihood support in addition to psychosocial care and capacity building programs.

Among its key programs is the SIDE competency framework, a structured development program that includes 75 competencies designed to strengthen social, interpersonal, digital and economic skills among beneficiaries.

The Fund’s programs also support orphaned youth across the Kingdom who face financial challenges that may prevent them from continuing their education, by providing educational scholarships and personal development opportunities based on clear and transparent eligibility criteria.

Since its establishment, Al Aman Fund has supported more than 5,000 orphaned youth, 66% of whom are female. To date, 3,712 beneficiaries have graduated from the Fund’s programs, with 78% securing at least one employment opportunity in the labor market, while the Fund currently continues to support 611 students who remain enrolled in their educational journeys.
