Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans and The Specialty Hospital have signed a strategic partnership agreement, under which the hospital will join the Fund’s “Empowerment Partners” network. The partnership reflects the important role of Jordan’s healthcare sector in advancing corporate social responsibility and investing in the future of orphaned youth.
The four-year agreement was signed by Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri, Chairman and General Manager of The Specialty Hospital, and Eng. Noor Homoud, Al Aman Fund Director, in the presence of representatives from both organizations.
The partnership reflects The Specialty Hospital’s commitment to supporting community development and its belief in education as one of the most important pathways to empowering young people, particularly orphaned youth, and enabling them to build more secure and stable futures.
Under the agreement, The Specialty Hospital will provide four educational scholarships supporting the full educational journey of orphaned youth benefiting from Al Aman Fund. The scholarships will cover a range of academic disciplines, including healthcare related fields, particularly Nursing, as well as Cybersecurity.
The partnership will also provide students with opportunities for practical training at The Specialty Hospital during their studies, helping them gain hands-on experience, strengthen their readiness for the labour market, and pursue career pathways that support their independence upon completing their education.
Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri, Chairman and General Manager of The Specialty Hospital, said:
