On the celebration of The Arab Orphan Day which falls on the first Friday of every April, Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans has launched an exceptional event titled “Compete for Goodness.” This event is part of Alaman’s ongoing commitment to empower and educate young orphans who have exceeded the age of 18, with a strong emphasis on promoting values of cooperation and generosity within the community.
“Compete for Goodness “ event features a positive competition among influencers and content creators in Jordan. Their social responsibility includes gathering the largest possible number of donations to support the education of orphaned students benefiting from Al-Aman Fund.
Many of them actively participate in this event through live broadcasts on social media platforms. Additionally, other corporations contribute by directly reaching out to their customers and employees, as well as making direct donations at AlAman headquarters.
From its side, Al-Aman Fund has announced the launch of its new application to facilitate the donation process for both individual and corporate donors. This application aims to enhance transparency and track the impact for donors when they donate or support orphaned youth across various fields, consequently strengthening their sense of belonging and social responsibility. Donors can track the journey of the student they have chosen to support, learn about their specialization, educational performance, grades, and progress throughout their academic journey. Additionally, donors have the flexibility to direct their contributions towards education, accommodation support, monthly allowance, capacity-building programs, or health insurance. They can also schedule their donations, ensuring sustainable alignment with their individual or organizational social responsibilities.
Al-Aman Fund aims to cover the costs for a large number of unsponsored students. It supports them in their educational journey to secure a better future. Additionally, “Al-Aman Market” will be organized after Iftar in the outdoor area of Al-Aman Fund, sponsoring corporations will feature their products on this day, allowing local community members to donate directly and participate in the activities held.
It’s worth mentioning that Al-Aman Fund application is currently available on the main app stores for Android and iOS operating systems.
Everyone can download it to their devices, choose the student they wish to support, and begin tracking their journey together.
Al-Aman Fund for the future of Orphans is the guiding light of hope. It was established in 2003 through the initiative of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah and officially founded in 2006. AlAman’s mission is to provide education and skills development for orphaned youth above the age of 18, empowering them to become active contributors to society. Its core vision lies in ensuring a brighter future for these young individuals, ultimately leading to self-reliance.
